Key Biscayne boasts unique South Florida beaches, surrounded by parks on both ends. On most days the sky is clear and you can enjoy several outdoor activities. Rent a bike to drive around the island, visit the Cape Florida Lighthouse, go golfing, or explore one-of-a-kind diving options and other watersports. Key Biscayne also offers some great dining spots with even greater views.
Ritz Carlton has several restaurants and bars that are considered amongst the best in the area. Such as ‘Rumbar’ that offers live Latin music, and the oceanfront ‘Lightkeepers’ where you can enjoy a coastal menu and exceptional cocktails. Close to the hotel you’ll also find restaurants such as Costa Med and KeBo that are definitely worth a visit.
Milanezza is a family restaurant serving Argentinian and Italian dishes. This place offers a casual and vintage atmosphere, and is a staple in the neighborhood.
Visit Rusty Pelican for a meal overlooking Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami. They have an extensive menu of contemporary American fare, and is a popular choice both for dinner and brunch. This iconic restaurant is also a great spot to watch the sunset.
This should be your go to place if you’re looking for seafood in the area. Ceviche Bar offers simple aesthetics, but amazing food including some vegan options.
Vinya doubles as a wine shop and bar with a great food menu to go with. As they state “you can come pick out your favourite wine bottle, and drink it at the bar.” They’re open for both lunch, dinner, and of course drinks, and are famous for their amazing hamburgers and wine selection.
Dune Bar is Ritz’s very own beach bar. With stunning views, a laid-back atmosphere, and outstanding drinks. Oh, and did you know? Dune Bar is also where Digiday’s official closing party will be held, hosted by Rise and HUMAN. Come by on Tuesday 9/20 starting from 9:30 PM, for cocktails, cigars, and dancing. See you there!
