Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage technical and operational issues raised by customers and internal business teams. This will include research and resolving issues with the help of the development, product, data, and business teams. You will be providing outstanding service to internal stakeholders and external customers, and ensure their issues are addressed in a prompt and correct manner.

Responsibilities​

  • Respond to customer inquiries and technical problems through ticketing and direct messaging channels
  • Work directly with the company’s cross teams such as business, Data, R&D, and Product to provide fast solutions to customer issues based on customer needs
  • Address our business team and customers’ technical issues through diligent research, reproduction, and troubleshooting while applying acquired knowledge
  • Document the technical inquiries and issues
  • Formalize and write content for knowledge sharing for both internal purposes and customer-facing platforms

Requirements​

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Operations/Technical Support Engineer/Professional Services or a similar role – MUST!
  • Familiarity with SQL and Excel – MUST!
  • Experience with HTML and JavaScript
  • Strong familiarity with website development tools and troubleshooting techniques
  • Basic Networking knowledge in the Internet environment (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS)
  • Ability to lead a business discussion with customers while presenting performance trends and business goals
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to understand and troubleshoot system and application flows, dive deep into complex problems, and find their root cause
  • Interest and orientation in data, metrics, analysis, and trends and applying knowledge of measurement, statistics, and program evaluation
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluent English – written and spoken

Advantages

  • Experience in the online advertising industry – a big advantage
  • Software programming or shell script development experience
  • Familiarity with the AdTech industry, leading SSPs and DSPs platforms, and following protocols: vast, vpaid, RTB
