Quality Assurance Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented quality assurance specialist to be part of our quality assurance activities. The quality assurance specialist’s responsibilities include developing and implementing quality assurance policies, conducting tests and inspections, identifying production, process, or product issues, and presenting solutions.

To be successful as a quality assurance specialist you should be incredibly thorough and able to help our company maintain the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
Performing routine inspections and quality tests.
Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
Troubleshooting and finalizing system procedures.
Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes.

Requirements

2+ years of experience with testing of web-based applications using a structured testing methodology
Experience with automated functional testing tools – advantage
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON
Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
A “can do” attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fast learner with an ability to pick up new ideas and approaches quickly
Team player and ready to collaborate with others
Ability to take initiative and work independently
